The Texas Tech
Ranch Horse Center is located in Between
New Deal and Idalou, Texas (about 20
min North of Lubbock). Over the past
four years the Horse Center has grown
tremendously. Pipe fence has replaced
the old and many different turn-outs
were constructed. Large foaling stalls
were made inside across from the live-in
apartment to help keep a close watch
on the mares. The barn has 10 box stalls
and a large breeding area including
breeding stocks and a jump dummy. A
round pen and riding arena are also
located at the farm.
